Bio:

I, like many of you, took the leap across campus two weeks after our graduation. I graduated in 1966 with a BS in Home EC. I enjoyed singing and touring with the A Capella Chorus.

I met Willie Robinson in the fall of 1963. We were married in June 1966. We moved to Memphis for his medical school at UT. While there I worked as a teacher's aide and later for the State with rehabilitation for the blind.

After his graduation in 1969, we moved to Knoxville for his internship and shortly after our move we had our first son Bill. From 1970-72, we served as medical missionaries in Kumba, Cameroon, West Africa. At the end of our tour, we returned to Knoxville for Willie to finish a residency in internal medicine. Jim, our 2nd son was born in June. We looked at several small towns and final decided to come to Columbia in 1974. Our first daughter, Helen was born that fall and 15 months later our second daughter, Mary.

We celebrated our 39th anniversary this year. Willie still practices full time with CORE Physicians and is Medical Director at 3 nursing homes.

Since our first child was born, I have been a stay at home mom, briefly helping part time in his office.

We are extremely proud of our children. Bill graduated from Lipscomb and owns Robinson's Appraisal Services. He and his wife Beth, a Belmont Grad, live in Columbia with their 2 children. Jim is a CPA and the CFO for Heritage Bank (in organization) here in Columbia. He and his wife Michelle have 3 children and are expecting #4 next year. They both graduated from Auburn. Helen and her husband own a construction company and are building a home here in Columbia. They both graduated from DLU. They just had their 3rd child last week. Mary and her husband Michael Strickland live in Murfreesboro where he is the campus minister at the Christian Student Center. They both graduated from Auburn and have a precious daughter.

We attended Graymere church of Christ for 27 years. Willie served as both and deacon and elder. We now attend West 7th and enjoy working and worshiping there.

I have been on several medical mission trips in Latin America and hope to go again in the future.

God has blessed us far more than deserve.

Looking forward to seeing all in October!
